how do i ask my housemates to dispose of their sanitary products properly?

I am a guy and I live in a house with 2 women, and it is hell. Especially in the bathroom. Today I found a used tampon in the toilet floating. I tried to flush it but it just floats, so I had to find some gloves and fish it out to throw it in the trash. This is the third time it has happened. Once I can even go so far to say I found blood on the rim of the toilet seat. It it really getting my down and grossing me out because they never clean anything and I have to clean everything. And I don't even know how to dispose things like this properly I am a guy!! They never taught me this in sexed! My mom uses pads and the only time I ever noticed them was when I went shopping with her, then I never ever saw them again (thank god) and same goes for my sister. So how do I tell them nicely?

You can tell them directly ... either they seem to think you do not know these things or they don't care. Either way it is gross ... You have to have a conversation with one of them whom you feel it is easier to talk. Tell them about what you are going thru' and how hard it is. Tell them you would appreciate it if they clean up after themselves.

If it does change even after that, pee with the lid on and they will get the message !!!!
