Kohler Toilet Seat Lids

How do you install a wall-hung toilet (basically)?

I am interested in taking a "rest-stop" toilet, like the shorter Kohler Kingston, and putting a regular toilet seat and lid (nice ones) on it, so I don't have the toilet base on the floor, thus making my tiny bathroom look bigger and making it easier to clean. I can't afford the designer versions (some over $1,000).

BUT how do you convert from a floor toilet drain to a wall hook-up, and where the heck does the water come into this thing? Do you need a metal supporter behind the wall or only 2X6's? I don't want it to ever sag.
It only uses 1.6 gallons per flush, pretty good. It seems the price isn't so bad, like around $175, but are there parts missing, like flanges and valves, that make this much more costly?
I've always wanted this, because I think the floor around toilets gets dirty.

Plenty of parts are missing. Look at the link again, that picture is all you're going to get, if you get that much. I'm not sure if the brass thing at the back of it is included or not. You will also need the options listed.When you get the options that is where the water will hook up. You will have to tear out the drywall in your bathroom(behind the toilet) reroute the water supply, rip up and rebuild some of the floor . That is to move your toilet drain into the wall. It is hard to tell from the picture if the new plumbing will fit in a 2x4 wall, so you may have to rebuild the entire wall. That's a lot of work, but it does sound like a fun thing to do...just to say you did it. I hope you have a two bathroom house as this will NOT be a one day job.
