Catfish Toilet Seat

Other than Pickerel and Catfish, what Northern fish does well in Low Oxygen Conditions?

in the water...I live in Northern New Jersey and am looking to stock my algae infested river with fish other than Pickerel. (Pickerel own this body of water like a fat guy owns a toilet seat)

I am thinking perch do well in low oxygenated water and bass should do alright.

"Burbot" or "Eel-pout" do well in low O2.

"War-mouth" do well in low O2, (although I don't think they "range" as far away as NJ). War-mouth look like a cross between a Bass and a Crappie, and can put up a decent fight for their size. In the South, we usually called
them "Poor Man's Crappie". War-mouth can be tasty if soaked in Buttermilk 4-5 hours.

Can't think of any more that might work in your region.
